Adventurous Ride Out West - Leg Two

Arizona and New Mexico

Leaving Tuscon for New Mexico I will go North on Interstate 17 through Phoenix until I reach Flagstaff. I don't have specific plans to ride through Sedona. But if I get a chance I will try to make it there.

Once I am in Flagstaff I plan on heading East on Interstate 40 till I reach Albuquerque, New Mexico. THis is where I will be staying for the night. As you guessed it I will be staying at a KOA.

New Mexico and Oklahoma

After the night in New Mexico it is East again on Interstate 40. This will take me through the rest of New Mexico, the top of Texas and all the into Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It is here where I will stop of in Moore for the next few weeks.I will get a chance to meet of with people I met while I was there working last summer. I will have some down time to get some development down and help out my fellow Perfect Order and CommNav brothers. The weather should be awesome at this point. I plan on getting my bike services at the local BMW dealer. Keep checking my site I plan on updating it with pictures the whole time I am in Oklahoma.

Bonus Ride - Oklahoma and Texas for USENIX '03

While in Oklahoma I will be attending USENIX in San Antonio, TX. It is about a Eight hour ride. I start out South on Interstate 35. I plan on getting an early start. I will be staying with a guy from work. He is going down eariler for some of the tutorial sessions. I am going only for the technical sessions. I might spend the day in Austin on the way back.
